DSPF10 Internal Pond Filter Medium

The DSPF10 Internal Pond Filter aids a pond pump by creating a higher surface area for filtering and beneficial bacteria. This helps to protect pumps from being blocked too quickly by pond debris. Keeps your pond clean and healthy. Easy to install!

The DSPF10 Filter is designed for small to medium pond pumps. Simply open up the top and remove the two layers of foam filtration. There is approximately 20cm (L) x 10cm (W) x 20cm (H) space to fit a pump - a little bigger if you remove the ring of foam on the bottom. Keep in mind this unit comes with 2 Mesh Bags to allow room for Bio-Media. It's not essential, but it's a great way to help beneficial bacteria thrive by using Bio Balls, Carbon, Zeolite or Bio Noodles. The 2 foam pads have a small hole through the middle to allow for a fountain kit to be placed through. The DSPF10 is designed for our brand of Solar Pumps but they are able to fit the PondMax PV Series and PondMaster Pumps too - you may need to cut the filter hole larger to allow for the bigger fountain kits. This model is taller than the other two and has a handle - making it easy to pull out of the water.
