Blechnum Silver Lady is a stunning medium growing fern which will develop a solitary black trunk to 90cm tall topped by a large neat rosette of fronds 60 to 90cm long and up to 30cm wide. The many soft, fresh green, gracefully arching fronds have numerous narrow segments only slightly narrower on the spore-bearing fronds. The new growth on this lush tropical fern can be pink to bronze in colour and provide an attractive contrast to the silver-green mature fronds. Silver Lady is the perfect specimen for your tropical look garden, in decorative containers, indoors or in the bathroom, or even in outdoor living areas as this very elegant fern will tolerate warm air more than most ferns. This easy-to-grow fern thrives in sheltered, moist areas, the edge of ponds and streams being highly favoured. They prefer humus-rich soil and part shade, are low maintenance, removing spent fronds, and enjoy regular slow-release fertilising.
Light: Thrives best in bright indirect sunlight or medium indirect sunlight.
Watering: Keep moist during warmer months.
Pet Safe: Yes
