Haworthia retusa is a slow growing, unique looking succulent with thick, lime green, triangular, translucent leaves that creates star-shaped rosettes. These thick leaves are marked with longitudinal lines. These stripes are known as ‘epidermal windows’ – this allows increases the area available for photosynthesis. White tubular flowers bloom in late Spring to Summer on stems that extend above the foliage. A great succulent for indoors but make sure to keep on a windowsill where it will get bright sunlight. The plant produces small offsets that sprout from the base of plant. These can pulled off and replanted.
