The Baby Sunrose, formally known as Aptenia cordifolia, is a hardy fast growing ground cover with fleshy, lime green heart shaped leaves and bright pink, daisy-like flowers. It is a very resilient, drought tolerant plant that thrives well in full sun and well drained soil. Baby Sunrose creates a dense mat of foliage making it perfect for hanging baskets, ground cover in gardens and rockeries. It is a very low-maintenance plant – little attention is needed, just the occasional trim back.
