Haworthia coarctata is a slow growing, clumping succulent that has dark green leaves with white raised webbing or dots. The narrow foliage grows tall - stacking on top of each other giving a vague pinecone shape. Leaves may turn a purple to red colouring depending on the amount of sunlight it receives. Small greenish-white, tubular flowers bloom in Summer on tall stems.
The Haworthia can be kept indoors and is an excellent plant that can adapt to a number of light conditions, although it does prefer bright indirect light. The plant produces small offsets that sprout from the base of plant. These can pulled off and replanted. Great for rock gardens or pots.
