Plectranthus verticillatus is a hardy, trailing succulent with glossy, fleshy, round green leaves with scalloped edges. White to pale mauve, tubular flowers bloom on loose pikes. The plant generally flowers all year round but are more abundant in Spring. Plectranthus verticillatus is a very low maintenance, drought tolerant plant. Fantastic for people who forget to water their plants as they can survive long periods without water. It can also tolerate different light conditions, although it prefers bright indirect light. Makes for an excellent ground cover as well as looking good for rock gardens and spilling over hanging baskets.
