Kunzea recurva is a small shrub with narrow, aromatic deep green foliage and bright pink globular flowers that appear at the end of the branches between August and December, which attract birds to the area. Occurs naturally in a wide area from Perth to Esperance, growing in winter-wet depressions and rocky slopes where it adapts to a variety of different soil types. An attractive shrub for revegetation projects, native gardens, mixed borders and is very showy when in flower. Prefers full sun and is able to tolerate drought and moderate frost.
