Lizard’s Tail is an easy to care for plant that has a hairy stem with large heart-shaped leaves. The flower structure is an arched spike with lots of small white flowers that gives an appearance of a lizard’s tail, hence its name. The Lizard’s Tail prefers shallow water or boggy areas.
Pond Plants are always a great addition to any pond. They compete with the algae for nutrients which helps to keep the pond clean. Having multiple plants can be an effective way of filtering the water but you generally need to have half the water surface covered to have a noticeable change. This also depends on certain factors such as type of fish and location of the pond. As well as filtering the water, pond plants help to oxygenate the water during the day.
Our Pond Plants can come in two main pot sizes, 140mm ($12.95) or 200mm ($20.00) pot. The 140mm pots are generally always in stock but the larger 200mm pots are not always available. Seasonal plants are not generally available during dormancy. Please check for availability.
