This filter and watercourse pump is a power-saving talent. The large-surface wrap-around case allows coarse dirt particles such as fish waste or dead plant parts up to 10mm in size to pass through to an external filter. Thanks to EFC (Environmental Function Control), the pump switches off automatically in the event of dry running or blockage, thus preventing damage to the unit.
