Aqua One pH Down 500g

Aqua One pH Down is a powdered buffer that helps control the acidity and alkalinity of water to create the perfect conditions for fish to thrive. Different species of fish need different pH conditions and so the testing and adjustment of these levels is vital. pH is the measure of alkalinity and acidity within a liquid. pH is measured on a scale from 0-14 with 7 being neutral. 0-6.9 is acid and 7.1-14 is alkaline. It is recommended to use a pH test kit to test pH. If the reading is too high, use Aqua One pH Down to lower pH.

Dosage: Use 2g per 40 litres. Lowers pH by 0.4 per 24 hour period.
